Define Various Tooth Decay Stages

There are various stages of tooth decay. Here we will discuss it:

  • Stage 1 Tooth decay and loose minerals:

As we know that enamel is the outermost layer of the teeth, and it comprises tissues. And these are the hardest tissues in the body and their composition is essentially of crystals. Your teeth produce acid through plaque bacteria, it is when the enamel begins to lose its minerals.

When you get plaque bacteria then you see white stains on the teeth. It is tooth decay and losing minerals' initial indication from your tooth.


  • Stage 2 Cavity issue:

  • Stage 5 Last tooth decay:

This is the last and final stage of tooth decay. In this stage bacteria gets inside and damages the pulp, which speeds up the infection in your mouth and eventually we get an abscess from the bottom of our tooth. This can result in severe pain. But this time the pain has no limit to a specific area, instead it can spread to the rest of your mouth, bones, jaw, face and gums.
